What is Carkayous?

Back in 2012 Jesse Smith discovered a strange and enchanting island off the coast of South America. Since then we have been taking expeditions their to document the strange critters of this continent and reveal the mysteries it holds.

The Crew

  • Jesse Smith - Captain

    Founder and Artist behind the project, Jesse Smith is always leading the next expedition and documenting the crazy critters of Carkayous. He is a world renowned Tattoo artist, innovator of the New School Tattooing style, and was featured on Seasons 2 and 6 of the hit television show "Ink Master".

  • Sam Dakart - Lieutenant

    Jesse's right hand man, Sam Dakart is always busy making sure thing get taken care of. Starting with Jesse as a Graphic Designer he now manages the marketing and logistics on both Carkayous and the Richmond Tattoo Convention.

  • The Community

    Our crew has stuck it out through thick and thin. Braving every twists and turn along the way. We wouldn't be here without them!
